Mamiko is busy checking the color of the beans countless times in the roasting room. The Cafe Apple’s original coffee is prepared carefully by the owner Mamiko.

“I wasn’t a big fan of coffee. But after tasting the brewed coffee of Mamiko-san, I couldn’t get enough of it!”, Kozue is a student who started to work part-time because she fell in love with her coffee so much.

Being in the business for almost 50 years and having “Apple” as its name, the menu has many apple desserts, like apple pie, caramel-apple toast, and even apple & honey pizza!

The most popular one called “Round Apple Pie” got sold out before lunch on that day, so I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

The famous cold-brew coffee I had in the summer is delicious without a doubt since the flavor extraction takes a long time with a large siphon sitting on the counter.

In the fragrant aroma of the coffee, I lost my words looking at Mamiko’s beautiful profile while she was giving an intent gaze at the roasting machine slowly browning the beans.

I took a sip from my cup of coffee and got lost in thoughts like, “Hmm… what shall I have on my next visit?”
