When travelers cannot see what is happening inside an Izakaya, they might feel both expectations and worries. But a clear signboard at the entrance of this Izakaya says, “Service in English is available today.”

The place doesn’t have the chaotic atmosphere typical of an Izakaya, and you can tell right away that it’s cleaned thoroughly just by looking at the polished tables.

As for the food, the menu has different kinds of pizza in addition to the standard Izakaya dishes.

I ordered the standard Sashimi, Yakitori, and also a pizza!

The sashimi is fresh and melts in our mouth.

Yakitori, perfectly grilled and crispy.

And how is the pizza? It’s much bigger than we thought. Hmm. Yum, it’s my favorite thin and crispy pizza!

The pizza dough is handmade by the owner. No wonder why my Italian friend said it was very delicious!

“Don’t we often feel like having a pizza at an Izakaya, right?” says the kind owner.

The owner continues cooking and quietly moves to the side for foreign tourists who are taking photos of the flames rising in the kitchen. The smell of delicious food and the hospitality spirit fills the restaurant, where he runs with his wife.
