Tsumagaki shrine

The hall of worship with sun rays and a refreshing breeze.

A mysterious “Iwakura” with many folklores

A historical shrine founded in 756 C.E., located on a hill overlooking the Ajimu valley. The hall of worship has a mystical atmosphere where the wind blows in from every direction and an enormous sacred tree protecting its rear. After climbing the steep and narrow mountain path to the inner shrine, we see the Iwakura: a sacred boulder of Shintoism where a god descends from the above.

The path leading to Iwakura has a mystical atmosphere.

There is no priest but the place is well maintained and spotless!

The vermilion shrine transforms its ambiance by changing light of a day.

Address:203 Tsumagake, Ajimumachi, Usa city
